Sharp bright,
slicing white.

My sharp front teeth are for biting,
But what have I bitten lately?
Who have I taken a chunk out of?
When I get sharp it’s my love,
and my little ones who get cut on these slicing whites.

It’s not considered polite
to show your teeth to ones
not intimately known
and loved.
